Still struggling with this I'm hoping someone comes up with an answer. I live in Prince Edward Island Canada I wonder if there's a way to find out if there's any retired service people or someway to get someone with qualifications to have a look at my machine.
Thanks for the reply Eric I tried printing webpage but it's still just looks like it's trying to process but not picking up the paper the fella I bought it off of said it was working fine before I took possession of it and that maybe something happened during transport but I was extremely careful. I will have Xerox come out but they charge $209 an hour lol!
It's possible that it's a mechanical issue and you may need a Xerox technician to look at it. I noticed you're trying to print a .ai file. Could you try printing from a basic web page in Safari and see if you still run into any issues? Perhaps the Adobe Illustrator file is having issues being processed.
bye for now.
I really don't think it's a driver issue the printer sees the test friend that I called it I clean the rollers they were spotless. And it wants to print so bad and so close but for some reason it's just not picking up the paper I pulled out the paper tray you can only go in one way and when I pull the tray out it tells me to reinstall the paper tray so obviously it's hooked up correctly. I'm sure it's something very small have a look at the attached videos hopefully somebody can help me out here it's very discouraging lol.
Hey Eric I will try again but I was pretty sure it saw my printer on the network when I selected the driver. I will remove the printer and try it again and send screenshots to keep you posted. I had another guy at a place called Combat Computers today when I went in suggested I might try to clean the print rollers since he said if it is going to the printer and showing a job is going to print from tray three that he says perhaps the rollers are unable to pick up the paper.
Although I'm not an expert with that model of printer, but those driver options look like you're still using a generic macOS print driver. I would try manually installing the printer again and verify that you're using a model specific driver. The highlighted area in the picture would be where you select the driver.
ack ackbye for now.
Hi Eric thank you for the fast reply I am using the driver that I download it from Xerox I'm able to print to the existing tray number two.
Are you using a Xerox driver or a generic driver?
bye for now.
Hello everyone! This is my first post. I recently purchased a really nice phaser 7500 and I am having trouble printing to tray three. I have tried different things from page set up hooking up via USB and ethernet with no luck. The print job goes to the printer and it says processing and it says from tray three but nothing comes out. Any advice be greatly appreciated. I'm also attaching a video to help explain what I'm trying to figure out.
Thank you for any feedback.
