Re: Unidentified Secure Jobs

Hi,

Do you know how to do a print to file? Instead printing to the printer the application saves the file. You have this option available in Acrobat reader.

Open any small PDF, do a print to file and post it here so I can take a look.

Re: Unidentified Secure Jobs

Hi RiuPC

I already do the testing you recommended me, but the problem reamins.

I deactivate the XSA, installed the latest version of the GPD for x64. Create a new user (not administrator) to tested the user on the station.

what else can we do? The only PC that is showing this issues are the 64 bits ones!

Thank you for your help

Re: Unidentified Secure Jobs

Hi,

Try to use the Global printer driver. You can get it here:

Re: Unidentified Secure Jobs

Hi RuiPC-Xerox

Thanks for the help, I will do that.

Something I forget about the issue, is that I´m using Windows 7 64bits in the station that can´t identified the user.

The one that is working ok has the 32 bits version.

I was thinking something missing on the driver configuration, because I test other 32 bits equipment and all of them appear at the right Tab.

Re: Unidentified Secure Jobs

Hi Alvaro,

Try to set one thing at a time. Start first with the secure jobs and then the XSA. You are not getting the owner name because of the driver. You may have used a different way to install it. The driver try to grab the user name and then send it inside the PCL or PS job to the printer. For same reason the driver is not getting it.

Go to a pc and then uninstall the driver completely. Install it again. At the port chose the standard tcpip port but set it to lpr, not raw. Go to the properties and check if the printer image is the Colorqube.

Then send a secure job and check the owner in the printer.

Unidentified Secure Jobs

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hi everyone

I´m hopping you can help me with this issue. I´m configuring a Colorqube 8900, it came with factory setup.

I´m trying to set the Secure Print Job option, but I´m having this situation:

When I printed from my laptop the job appear at the "Secure Print Job" tab on "Job Status", but when I print from the other stations the job appear at "Unidentified Secure Jobs", and the appear individually, not on a folder list.

Can you guide me to set it up so all jobs fall on the Secure Print Jobs Tab?

I'm ussing also XSA, and I set all the stations with the proper users. All statios had administrator privileges and all of them are using the default administrator user, even my laptop. I don´t know why myl laptop is the only one the appear at the Secure Print Job Tab.

Best Regards
