The Spar upgrade did the trick. Had to make a few adjustments after the upgrade to the print server where PaperCut is installed but worked like a charm.

Thanks for the Spar link. I will upgrade to the spar Version and will let you know of the results.

Was not aware of the versions you mentioned, The MFD's have the 073.020.029.17700 version which is the version available for download on the Xerox website.

Latest firmware is not helpful, please list what firmware is running exactly, because there are at least 3 "latest" versions

The General release 073.xxx.xxx.34540

The Spar Release 073.050.069.32410

And whatever the latest one-off release is

User Login Freezes

Jump to solution
Product Name: WorkCentre EC7836/EC7856
Operating System: Windows Server 2016 x64

I have a customer running PaperCut on a Windows Server 2016. When user login to the EC7856 MFD's to retrieve their print jobs the login process freezes and printer has to be rebooted before it can be used again. This only happens on the EC7856 devices and not with the VersaLinks devices customer has. The EC7856 already have the latest firmware. What could be causing this issue on only the EC7856 devices?
