Thanks for the reply. I just installed it on one of the new windows 7 computers connected to our network. the other networked computers (running XP) can print just fine.
how did you setup the global driver? did you install it on a TCP IP port? then it should work in basic mode....
when installed, turn off bidirectional communication in the driver, it wont work anyway
Our wonderful Xerox printer has been purring along for years. It remains our workhourse go-to printer. Unfortunately, We recently had to upgrade some workstations to Windows 7 and now, we can't find a print driver that works with windows 7.
i did find your global print driver and installed. The printer does appear on under "printers and faxes" but has an error: "cannot be contacted over the network". I installed using the subnet mask and default gateway listed under the TCP/IP section of the printers configuration report.
What am I missing?
