We have XMPie installed on all the workstations. The only license that can output from XMPie is the iGen operator workstation.

At our shop the prepress guys are also the ones who run the digital press. We have 1 station with XMPie (which we really don;t do many variable data jobs) and we print PDF's to our digital press.

How is your variable data being handled through your shop? Are the designers or pre-press area in charge of it or is it handled under the digital press area? How many XMPie stations do you have? Is the XMPie data driven to the iGen or do you PDF the jobs, then process it through your digital press?
