Hi Wendy - 

Make sure you have the Xerox VersaLink C405 print driver installed on your Mac.    Here's a link to the Mac Cataline driver - Drivers & Downloads - VersaLink C405 Color Multifunction Printer - macOS 10.15 - Catalina - Xerox .    You can find other Mac OS drivers using the Filters dropdown menu if your running an other version.

Here's a KB article that may help - Install the Drivers and Utilities for Macintosh OS X (xerox.com)

Once the driver is installed, you should have the options to print in color and choose double-sided, and much more.

I cannot get my Xerox C405 to print in color from my mac or do double sided printing.  Please help!

Exactly the same method as every other printer.

Start > Devices and Printers

Right-click the printer and go to Printing Preferences.

Set what you want to be your preferred defaults and click Apply > OK

Hi,

The VersaLink C405 printer I have defaults to print both sides.  I want to change the default to print single side so I do not have to keep changing the setting in the print dialogue.  Anyone out there have a clue on how to do this?  Thanks in advance.
