Versalink B400 Bypass Tray Printing?

I just purchased the Versalink c505.

How can I simply (nothing simple about this machine!) change the bypass tray from 8X11, Pink bond to envelopes?

Do I have to MANUALLY change the settings on the printer to print 10 Monarch envelopes?  I cannot even find where to change this!!

And, how can I tell it to print a "Fax Sent" report?

This machine is driving me crazy!  It is not easy to use and my husband is ready to go back to HP for the simplicity!!!

By definition, the Bypass tray is for odd media, not standard stocks.

If you want tray 5 as the default, set it as such.

If you want the device to choose the tray automatically per the job specs, you leave it to auto and define the paper in tray 5 every single job you print (Size/weight etc)

Auto paper select does one thing and one thing only, it chooses a tray where you have loaded what the job is asking for. But the driver is set to Letter Plain paper, so that is what it will choose unless you state otherwise somewhere in the job.

And since the Bypass tray / Manual feed tray is for stock other than the norm, FujiXerox does not allow it to be used for Auto Tray switching. Which makes sense if you know how many complaints get filed because someone loaded $1 per page stock in the bypass tray then someone else printed a bunch of inane prints and used it up on throwaway material.

I can set the printer to default to bypass tray only an it will work, but when setting to auromatically select, it will not print from bypass tray.

How can I set to pickup from bypass tray first if there is paper in there? Changing the setting each time I want to print from the bypass tray is so 1970's.

Just purchased on setup this new printer.

All of my previous printers, with paper in the bypass tray, it would print from there first. This printer does not.

I cannot even find any setting that will allow printing from bypass tray.

What am I missing?
