Yes, I mentioned they are working on updating their software to work with version 1.1.0 . I was hoping that a previous firmware version could be provided from Xerox support/anyone else who keeps previous version. Unfortunately this is the only C400 we've had to support and they seem to have firmware thats specific to the model.
ah ok, i dont know that pharos, but isnt up to them to update their software?
I'm not sure if I understand what you mean by convenience tool.
The physical device we are using is a card reader model "ID Tech IDMB-334112B" and the software that gets installed that requires Convenience Auth vers 1.0.0 is provided by Pharos Uniprint and called "Xerox iMFP version 2.7.5".
We ran into this exact issue with VersaLink C7020 already, and we were able to resolve it by rolling back to firmware 57.31.81 (publicly available at the time).
what convience tool are you using?
Hello,
We utilize a printer management program that currently only supports Convenience Auth 1.0.0 . Recent firmware version 67.31.81 updated Convenience Auth to 1.1.0 which is no longer working with our application. Our vendor is working on a resolution so that 1.1.0 is supported but I would like to also pursue a firmware version that reverts Conv Auth back to 1.0.0 if possible.
Would you be able to provide a firmware that rolls us back to Convenience Auth vers 1.0.0 ?
Thanks
