Re: Versalink C8000 Thinks There Is No Toner In Any Color

Hello there,

You may already know this, but this device not only has color toner cartridges, but it also has corresponding drum cartridges for each color. Make sure that you are replacing the correct one (drum vs toner). And when replacing the drum be sure to use the LED Lens cleaning rod as well.

Thanks,

Versalink C8000 Thinks There Is No Toner In Any Color

Product Name: VersaLink C8000 Color Printer
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Thank you for taking the time to give this a look.

Today, my Versalink C8000 stopped printing because it was out of Magenta. That's fine, and I went ahead and replace it with a new and tested Magenta. This one read as being 1% full, and the "Replace" signal was immediately on. The printer managed to send out another 30 or so prints, and then it announced that all my colors were empty. I played along, and changed all my toners to tested and new, authentic toners. They all read either empty or 1%.

Is there a set of sensors that I can clean, or a solution to this? Mangenta has randomely come back to working as it reads 91% with my new toner (good enough). The rest are still not working.

Thank you very much for any and all help.
