This seemed to work so far. You are a life saver. What if it is not a standard size? Do you know how to get around that?
Hi bossprint,
If the size that you're running out of tray 6 or 7 is a standard paper size be sure to program the paper size setting as auto detect. If you're running envelopes don't select the "envelope feeder" button on the tray settings screen. I've encountered the behavior that you describe when manually programming standard sizes or when selecting that envelope feeder button. The manually entered standard sizes thing is especially tricky because Command Workstation reflects the paper properties the same whether you're using auto select or manually entering the size.
I have a versant 180 with a bustled Fiery. It worked with tray 6-7 at one time. Now everytime I print out of CWS out of those trays there is not an error it just says waiting in the printing tab. It will never print or give an error. The paper in those trays are recognized in the Fiery. I can print from those trays if I make a copy. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
