Good afternoon, we are turning to the community to see if anyone else has happened to have imaging defects similar to our problem. It has been over a week of technician visits and parts replacements and unfortunately they are at a loss and ordering more parts seems wasteful.
We are getting what can best be described as some "fish scale" voids in our cyan prints as well as voided banding running from the inboard to outboard of the machine. There are also some background defects in the magenta prints as well as noticeable banding. Yellow and black prints are acceptable and no noticeable defects occur in these colors. So far, we have replaced C toner cartridge, CMYK imaging drums, C developer housing, CM charge roll and end caps, backup roll, IBT Belt, Belt Cleaner Assembly, HVPS board located in the back of the machine.
Power Supply board that goes inside the IBT assembly is on order and should be here tomorrow. Optimally, a full IBT Assembly replacement would have covered a lot more possibilities, but it seems that we cannot get one ordered from a warehouse.
By now, we are doubtful that the board ordered will fix the problem, as this has gone on too long ordering one thing at a time to try and fix the problem. We would appreciate hearing from the community if anyone has had a similar defect experience.
