If you're inserting a cover using tray T1, you MUST have the press "auto select" the page size if it doesn't staple with the "custom size" you've provided.
IF the press doesn't choose the correct "auto select" size, simply move your inserted cover to a different tray that can "auto select" the correct size.
The issue IS that the press, for whatever reason, doesn't register that it can staple certain sizes of paper despite clear evidence otherwise. The confusing bit is that the press will (on occassion) staple a book that you've provided "custom sizes" for. But, if you ever experience the press not stapling your book, always check that the paper sizes are "auto selected" and if they're not, change trays until they are.
Yes the Center staple option is still selected in the properties after printing.
After printing is the Center staple option still selected when viewing the job properties in Command Workstation?
If it is not, will it then work if you enable it there and reprint from Command Workstation?
If all looks good with the above, does it work when doing the job as a copy?
I have printed letter size booklets with a half fold, center staple with no problem. Now that I am trying to print a half page (5.5x8.5 finished) it will print and fold the booklet but with not staples?? I checked and the center staple option is on. Any suggestions??
