26-401 is an informational message and you need to check the hidden fault to rectify this issue. The hidden fault is causing CIS failure, check the tech fault logs(77-xxx,78-xxx) to fix this issue permanently.
Changeing the FreeFlow server helped, I think it is a hardvare problem. Versant was having problem with comunicating with server.
You literally replied to the solution to this issue.
Get the service tech on your location and show him this post, any Xerox tech can do this, if they can't they have their own "2nd level of support" as it were they can call and get step by step instructions to resolve the issue.
Xerox Service techs even have their own section on this forum (that you cannot see), where they can get help to solve this issue, which is exactly where I got the information I posted above that you just replied to.
Same problem with versant 80
technical support doesnt help me too.
When this error occurs the machine stops registering the paper
3mm difference between the first and last sheets if you do not restart the machine with these error.
I Call Xerox technical service, but no solution at that moment.
Not much can be done unless you know the parts and have diagnostics access to the device.
Fault Codes: 026-401 Chains:
The CIS sensor calibration has failed, the CIS sensor will deactivate until the CIS is recalibrated.
Clean the CIS sensor and window, then perform DC750; CIS setup AND DC751; CIS
check. After doing so, exit and CLEAR the log, then hard reboot. If the 026-401
persists, try the procedure again. If it persists, replace the registration,
part # 059k81222.
I'm having poblems with registration. technical support doesnt help. Any ideas ?
