Versant 280 using excess Magenta

Good day all, please what could be the issue when V280 Press uses more Magenta toner than usual say : 3 to 4 magenta cartridge toner in a space of 5 hour. Subsequently, we noticed the designed job to be printed does not need the machine to use plenty of magenta.
