Re: Vertical Colour discrepancy - adding a feint yellow band only on colour, not on white.

To see if a drum have a problem you can swap (interchange) with another one from the printer. All 4 drums are identical. If the issue moved to the position/color with the suspected drum, replace it.

Thank you so much for your suggestion Gabiene :) Forgive me for not understanding through - I am new to printers - does this mean I must replace the drums? Or swap the drums? All drums? Yellow drums? Swap magenta with Yellow? Not sure how to proceed? Forgive the 'newbieness' :) Thanks so much!

Hi,

It can be from the imaging units (drums) so you can swap between them (for ex. yellow with magenta) and if it is so replace the used drum.

Vertical Colour discrepancy - adding a feint yellow band only on colour, not on white.

Product Name: Phaser 7800
Operating System: macOS 10.13 - High Sierra

I'm having  strange colour troubles - vertical colour discrepancies on the left side of the page only , and it is most apparent in green blue shades - but appears in all colours that it is actually a feint YELLOW overtone to the left side of the page. Please help. I've cleaned the toner tubes, and the colour calibration is all perfect.Toner is certified Xerox toner from Printland. Not sure if its always been there , just getting worse and more noticeble - or if its new. Cartrdges are half finished already. Thanks!
