Re: Vertical lines (poor cleaning of the transfer belt)

IMG_20201115_160143396.jpgIMG_20201115_161255022.jpg10 days after the next blade cleaning and again a problem with the cleaning blade? This time 2 vertical lines. Is there a solution or should I throw away the printer and buy a new one? $ 400 for 5,000 copies + 4 new cartridges for about $ 500. Thank you Xerox. Disgusting support. I wouldn't buy anything more from you

One week after cleaning and 300 copies again the same problem. Is there a working solution? I can't clean the blade every week.

Re: Vertical lines (poor cleaning of the transfer belt)

Cleaner blade must be in contact and parallel with the belt.

Re: Vertical lines (poor cleaning of the transfer belt)

Everything is perfectly cleaned. The waste tray is empty. The printer is still new. Besides me, the blade does not make optimal contact with the belt and the toner is driven under it. Is it a structural defect? Are there a lot of complaints about this problem on the internet? Is there a solution to the problem? The printer is under warranty. If I take it to the service station, they will just clean it and return it to me.

Re: Vertical lines (poor cleaning of the transfer belt)

Hi,

Be sure to clean well the cleaner assembly, check the pipe where enter in to the waste cartridge. Also check the waste cartridge for overfilling.

Vertical lines (poor cleaning of the transfer belt)

Product Name: Other - specify product in post
Operating System: Windows 7 x64

Printer xerox 6515

5000 copies

There are vertical lines on the printout due to poor cleaning of the transfer belt from the blade.

After removing the transfer unit, disassembling the blade and cleaning, the printer works perfectly 100-200 copies. then everything is repeated. The vertical lines are not in one place. Is there a solution to the problem.
