Our office uses many printers throughout the building, all of which are networked together. Sometimes when printing to our Xerox WC 5150, the device is expecting us to put in 9" X 11.75" paper. We verify that the page settings are for 8.5" X 11" prior to printing, but the printer ignores all page settings ( including if we choose to print a specific page of a document, it will still print the entire document) in favor of the printer settings. We can change the printer setting to 8.5" X 11" but this change does not remain in effect. This issue is also inconsistent. A document may print fine in the morning but in the afternoon it will expect a different paper size.
Any insight is appreciated. This issue only occurs with our Xerox WorkCentre 5150 (we have five). Our other Xerox printers work as expected. Also our printers from other companies do not have this issue.

Thank you for using the forum.
This is a common problem that is usually caused by user error. At some point, someone is selecting an incorrect paper size parameter somewhere in the chain: in the document formatting, the application print settings, the driver print settings, or even at the printer itself when determining loaded media sizes.
I recommend that you contact support at 1-800-821-2797 for assistance so they can help you determine where in the chain the parameter is set incorrectly.
