Re: WC 7120 (Error 016-757)

Why can't you just set the Mac to use accounting? Does it not work when you set preferences in CUPS?

I did a quick test here, enabled XSA and created a user ID of 1111. Then set the PPD in CUPS to always prompt and to Send user ID only. Applied it and when I printed I got the prompt, entered 1111 and the job completed just fine.

Hi,

no thats not possible

xsa is on or off for all users, you cant override 1 user

so wen xsa is on, you  need to enter the id's to gain print access

I installed the WC 7120 driver for MAC OS, but I got this error: 016-757. The device its using Xerox Standard Accounting, I know that I cant  put the user ID on Mac drivers, so their is a way that a could bypass that MAC user? Because the Windows users have theirs ID configured at the driver.

The only thing that I could figure it out its deactivite the XSA, then the MAC user could print normally.
