You can safely export the Address Book and the users within XSA, but that is all.

In the future, this is set to change, but I don't know the time-frame, it could be next month, it could be next year, probably not in time for you though.

Clone files are meant to go from one model at one firmware, they are not for upgrading to another device, they are for deploying many identical devices at one time.

There are firmwares (older ones) that would allow you to load clones from dissimilar devices, most new firmwares actively block this because of how many extreme outcomes it caused on occasion.

is it possible to Clone from a WC 7855 to a AltaLink C8055?

So all setup Information are transferd to the new MFP?
If not how can I simple upgrade my MFP without all the Headache of konfigs...
