Hi biologghe,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at the solution for the marks you are seeing.  Since you have already changed the imaging unit and it is still happening.  I would suggest trying another imaging unit you may have a defective one.  If this does not fix it then please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

WC6505 regular spots

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hi,

Yesterday we replaced the WorkCentre 6505 imaging unit. From that moment on, every color print shows regular spots as shown below (scan of blank page).

We removed the imaging unit again, cleaned the inside of the printer and placed the unit back. That did not help.

Printing multiple pages did not result in fading of the spots.

Black and white print of blank page scan shows faint grey spots with the same shape.

Any idea how to solve this ? Is it a bad imaging unit ??
