one drum for four colors? Interesting. Nevertheless you should check the drum and the cleaner (the line and repeating dot should be the drum, the splotch may be the cleaner). Regular maintance and cleaning will help extend the life of your printer and can point out problems like this before they interfere in projects. Also if you print out a light grey using all four colors you will get a semblance of how balanced the four are when printed. Printing shades of 40% CM MY YC can help determine which drum is acting out (not for this machine, with only one drum).
Hope that helps.

The 7232 has only one drum. It may be the transfer belt cleaner.
were you just printing a blank page? If so i'd check the CYAN drum. It looks like it got messed up bad. The repeating dash would be a nick in the drum the line would scratch likely caused as the drum rotated, a speck of dust could do this if it didn't move. The splotch is beyond me but i would assume it to be a wear on the drum itself (if it repeats in the same distance as the nick)
In all cases the easiest solution is to replace the cyan drum.
