It really looks like what would happen if the Glass was defective, I've never seen such a thing.

 

Does it happen when using the Document feeder and off the platen on top? It uses seperate glass to do so so it should (if the glass is distorted) onlu do so with one.

Is it only when copying? have you done some troubleshooting to see if an internal page prints fine etc.?

I almost had a good laugh when I got if...but my colleauge I got if from was so angry I didn't dare to...

This should be a copy....

Is it a heating problem? I googled around a bit and found similar issue but with another type of machine.
