Hello Beenman,

I see no one has responded to this post yet. So, at this point I would recommend contacting your local Xerox Support Department to speak with a Software Specialist to find out if the PCL5 driver is compatible. Please call 1-800-821-2797 or 1-800-835-6100

Thanks,

Which versions of PCL are supported by AltaLink B8155 and C8145 copiers?

Hello Everyone,

I'm currently battling a very odd issue at work where we have an application called Oracle Documaker that generates custom forms for the business.  They have been printing to Konica Minolta copiers just fine up until the last few weeks when we starting deploying new AltaLink copiers.  Now the forms aren't printing in the correct pattern, it's like the copier doesn't recognize that it needs to break the document into multiple documents.  When we print the same job to a Konica Minolta Bizhub 308e and it handles the job just fine.

I keep hearing about PCL5 in reference to Documaker but am told that it also supports PCL6.  Do the current breed of AltaLink copiers still support older versions of PCL or only PCL6?  I ask because all of the available PCL drivers on the support page are only PCL6 now.  We've reviewed all driver and device settings but have not been successful in getting the correct output no matter what we try.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
