The C8000 is a Versalink product, the C8030 is an Altalink.

Versalink is FujiXerox and Altalink is Xerox

While the hardware is the same/similar, the entire firmware is completely different (Different people in different companies working completely separately), In my opinion, color handling goes (best to worst) VersaLink,ConnectKey, AltaLink.

AltaLink is oddly built right on top of Connectkey and is very much not the same league color wise.

Make sure they are at the same firmware level and you are using the same driver. It should be identical

Product Name: VersaLink C8000 Color Printer
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Hi Guys

despite the high running costs in comparison the print quality on the C8000 seems to be better than the C8030 which is still excellent.

Is there an explanation for this as would have thought that the paper path and engine would be the same?
