Re: Wideformat 6204 with Freeflow Access (Printing to scale problems)

Charlene, could you please tell me what the serial number of your printer?

On the Control Panel:

  1. Press the [Machine Status] button on the Control Panel.
  2. Select the [Machine Info.] tab on the Touch Screen. The serial number will be displayed on the bottom of the screen.

Thank you,

John

Re: Wideformat 6204 with Freeflow Access (Printing to scale problems)

Goodmorning John.  I have set all margins to zero, now just waiting for a job to print...should be soon!

Serial # of the wide format is 596215.

Thank you so much for all your help, I really appreciate it!!

Re: Wideformat 6204 with Freeflow Access (Printing to scale problems)

Hmmmm still not working properly even with the margins set to zero.  Seems I have to pick Arch E paper for every job just to get it to print at 100%.  Most of our plans our printed on Arch D size so it ends up being alot of waste.  The first print job went fine but after that everything needs to be set to Arch E :smileyindifferent:

Re: Wideformat 6204 with Freeflow Access (Printing to scale problems)

Hi Charlene,

I've been asked to have you try this...

We're going to change some settings in your driver.

  1. Click on [Start] on your computer.
  2. Click on [Printer and Faxes].
  3. Right click on the printer icon and select the [Printer Preferences].
  4. Click on the [Graphics] tab.
  5. Under the scaling change it from [Printer default scaling] to [Fixed 100%].
  6. Click on the [Apply] button at the bottom of the page.
  7. Click on the [Layout] tab
  8. Select [Landscape]
  9. Click on the [Apply] button.
  10. Click on the [Advanced..] button and select the size print you need.

Now try printing the file.  If it does not come out correct or only works on the first job again, then you'll have to place a service call and have a Xerox Tech come out to look at your machine.  We think that this should resolve the issue though.
