No, it's probably because the printer is in the middle of updating, I suggest trying to let it update by connecting it directly to the internet if possible.
If not, you'll probably need an engineer to help you reset the printer.

Have you looked on the Xerox support site?
You can set the printer to auto or manual upgrade so you may consider trying the manual method (listed on the site).
The auto upgrade uses ftp to get the needed files, which would indicate that your network needs to be connected and allow FTP.
It is setup in CentreWare.

Does anyone know how to get this printer from self testing and upgrading continuously? It is all that it is doing. I turned it off over the weekend and once I turned it on to print; it keeps doing this self test and upgrading for two days now. Please help....
