Hi Joe,
it works now!!!
I just disabled from both the printer panel and driver the ID Banner page...
That's why it kept asking for different type of paper...
Karina
I don't know what to tell you then. I can do it without issue using the driver linked on OSX 10.11.4
You will need to troubleshoot your workflow or call 2nd level to find your issue. It is not a driver/firmware problem, which would make is a program or workflow issue.
No, it doesn't work... It keeps asking for different paper...
I also tried to put SRA3 paper in bypass tray telling the printer that it is a personalized paper (Y 320mm X 450mm) and when I create a document with any software with those dimensions and click on print, printers asks me for A4 size paper!
Or for example I put SRA3 paper in tray n°2 and confirm on printer panel this paper size. Then I create a new document with this size in Pages, Photoshop, Acrobat or anything else. I then set the printer driver to pick paper from tray 2 where I loaded SRA3 paper and when I click on print it says "held - resources required - put SRA3 in tray 3 or 4".
What's wrong??
I will try tomorrow and let you know, thank you!
Karina
What happens if you use a relatively current driver like 3.68.0 instead of 3.63.3 which wasn't OSX 10.11 compatible?
Hello,
we're encountering a very strange problem with any WorkCentre 74xx machine series, with any firmware - PS driver (3.65.3).
We are trying to print from Mac Os X (El Capitan and Yosemite) and we're unable to print on SRA3 paper size. Every time we send a SRA3 job from any software the printer keep asking for different type and size of paper. It seems that it cannot understand information coming from OS X. Has anyone else encountered this problem ? What we can do? Of course paper settings in Mac and printer are the same
Thank you
Karina
