To answer your first question, yes win7 drivers work on win8 and the global driver works too :)

WorkCenter Pro 123 - Windows 8 Printing

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Our office has a WorkCentre Pro 123 and we have two new computers coming in this week that will be running Windows 8 64-bit that need to be able to print to the WCP123.

 

I see there are no Windows 8 drivers.  (1) Does the Windows 7 64-bit driver work? (2) Does the Global Driver work? (3) Can I share the printer on a Windows 7 64-bit machine and send print job though it?
