WorkCentre 3315, Vista, Save Paper Source in IE7 to Tray 1

Environment:

• Microsoft Windows Vista Business (joined)
• Microsoft Office 2007 (Word, Excel, Outlook are commonly used)
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 7
• XeroX WorkCentre 3315 (local, usb)
• -- Tray 1 contains plain paper (letter)
• -- Bypass Tray contains perforated paper (letter)

Scenario:

• End user(s) enters data into an application that is frequently used to output results using perforated paper.
• This application has no dialog box nor an options menu for printing, it simply outputs to default printer.
• Default printer is the XeroX WorkCentre 3315, with the bypass tray (set as the default via Printing Preferences)
• Both Microsoft Word and Outlook have been configured to use Tray 1.

Issue:

• Internet Explorer does not retain changes made to the paper source (Bypass Tray -> to Tray 1) from page setup.

Goal:

• The end user(s) would prefer Internet Explorer to print to Tray 1 like Word and Outlook.

From searching the forums I have seen issues that relate to paper size and I hope this isn't too far off from there.

Has anyone else experienced this situation and found a solution?
