Did you ever find out how to fix the Updating Data after every copy? I have one doing the same.
Thanks
I've had same problem for 2 weeks - getting worse and worse - now can't even copy 2 things back-to-back without it "updating Data" for 2 minutes. Tried suggested solutions and they don't work. Any other ideas or do we toss it?
Sorry, I have nothing more. That was all the info I could scrounge up.
Well...
Check the card reader or for usb key inserted -- done
PEK not installed. Rebooted several times. The printer still display message.
Other suggestions?
Check the card reader, or for a usb key inserted, or check the back for a SIM card.
Remove all of them and reboot and see if it clears.
If there is a SIM card, don't toss it, just tape it to the back in case it is needed later. You could also just reinsert it and see if that fixes it.
The issue you describe, from what I can find, is caused by a failure to be able to update to a device. Which can be a USB device, or a PEK (Printer Enablement Key), which is usually a SIM card. I've found references to them being installed incorrectly, or just having a bad connection so a reinsert can fix, and one reference to it just being removed altogether to resolve the issue.
hi joe...
the printer working properly but every time (EVERY FILE FORMAT ), at the end of job, on display appears " Updating data Please wait.." and stop responding to other function (keyboard, new print, copies...). I share the printer by LAN on W7 32 pro, W8 and W8.1 64 pro.
On W7 and W8 i installed factory drivers (CD), on W8.1 Xerox WorkCentre 3315/3325 Class Driver...
So....
Does it not print?
If it does not print what is the fault when it fails.
What print driver are you using?
What Operating System are you using?
Does it happen on all applications or just one?
All files or just one?
Do copies work?
Will it print properly if you bring it in by CWIS ala?:
After every print job, on display appears " Updating data Please wait.." for several minutes... Someone can help me? Thanks
