WorkCentre 5765 -- need to set defaults for all users after installation

Hello!

 

I have three computers in a domain environment that print to a WorkCentre 5765.  Our organization does not put printers on AD, so it is mapped via tcp/ip port.  These computers will be used by hundreds of separate people, and I need to configure the driver to default to 1-sided printing for every new user.  So far I've only found info for configuring the driver before installation.  Is there any way to set a default for all users on a Windows 7 machine after install?  Even if I went through the steps to preconfigure the driver and reinstalled on all three machines, there is every chance that other defaults would need to be changed later, and reinstalling with a new config file every time does not seem like the best idea.  I searched this forum and the web but I haven't found anything yet that will meet my needs.  Does anyone know a way to do this?

 

The computers are Windows 7 64 bit, driver is PS.  If I have forgotten any other necessary information, please let me know.

After writing the above question, I found the answer to my current problem under the "Earth Smart" settings.  After spending all of yesterday and half of today on this, it's a bit funny to have found my own answer as soon as I gave up and asked for help. :smileyvery-happy:   But I am still interested in how to set global defaults after installation in case I run into this again, so if anyone has ideas, I would love to hear them.  Thanks, all!
