It's likely a dirty or damaged sensor.
Hi --
I have a Xerox WorkCentre 6015 that doggedly insists it has a paper jam.
The user reports that she did indeed have a paper jam (from the rear), and did manage to remove the stuck paper. She told me that the paper tore, but she's reasonably sure that she got the whole thing out.
Now, whenever the printer is switched on, it runs through its internal tests, beeps and displays
Paper Jam
077-900 Printer
Open Rear Door
Remove Paper
I have thoroughly checked the rear paper path, as well as the bottom paper path and the output paper path, and cannot find anything stuck anywhere. Is there a way to further open the printer to more easily check these paper paths? The printer insists it has a paper jam, and right now I can't find one.
Thanks
CL
