Hi, I solved the problem.
I went piece by piece: it couldn't have been the drum cartridges, because they were clean and the problem was present on colored-only pages.
So I discovered that it was the transfer belt. I removed the drum cartdriges, removed (service only, but the printer was a gift and out of warranty so who cares) the transfer belt, cleaned it and reassembled everything.
Works like a charm.
So, for anyone having a problem like mine: it's the transfer belt, and is something that should be done by the official servicing.
Hi everybody, I hope someone can help me.
I have a WorkCentre 6515 that started to print like the attached image. It's not a duplex model, but it still shows something similar on the back (although lighter).
What could be the problem? As you see, the print is otherwise perfect.
Another question, linked to the first one.
I have a second printer that works perfectly: could I use its fotoreceptor (don't know the correct term, I am talking about the thing that comes out of the side, one per color) temporarilly in the bad printer without problems? Like "locking" the fotoreceptor out of my working printer and having to buy another one?
EDIT: to clarify, for testing if it's the photoreceptor or something else.
Thanks to whoever will help me.
