WorkCentre 6515 toner alarm 093-912

 Hello all,

Replaced toner after receiving a low toner warning, but will not recognize that it’s been replaced. I’ve tried reinstating cartridge, as well as rebooting printer. I’ve verified that both toners have the same part numbers. 

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hello Clint,

 

Thank you for using the Support Forum.  Remove the toner, turn the machine off, leave it off for a full minute. Turn the machine back with the toner out of the machine.  Let the printer power back on and it should give you the message that the toner is missing.  Install the printer and see if the message clears.  If it does not the please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Sounds like a bad connection to the toner CRUM.
