I think it is common across various brands of printers, not just Xerox printers, to stop working when a print cartridge is empty. I am not positive on this so I recommend contacting the Support department to be sure. The contact info is HERE.
While waiting for yellow toner to come in I had set the Printer to print in B/W only 5 days ago (Friday and now Wednesday) and now it will not print in B/W. I checked the setttings and nothing has changed. Yellow toner still has not been replaced, checked with our supply folks and they do not have it on hand, so I have sent for a quote from two City Vendors. I need to know if the printer should still be able to at least print in B/W unitl the yellow toner gets ordered and comes in.
