WorkCentre 7435, Windows7/64 and Excel 2010 tabloid failure

Hi,

 

We have a WorkCentre 7435 in our network that automatically cancels any tabloid Excel docs sent from Windows7/64 with Excel 2010.  The same docs print fine from Windows7/64 with Excel 2007.

 

Driver Version: 5.152.7.0N 2009.12.21

 

Is this an Excel 2010 problem or the driver?

i suggets you upgraded your driver to a newer version

try the global 5.216.19 version , lots if fixes are included in that driver

Xerox 7435 ps
I have just been in contact with Xerox support.
Regarding problems with printing the all table-gridlines in Excel (Office2010) windows 7.
The Xerox support amitted, that it is a knowned issoue, and Xerox is trying to fix this problem. Furthermore a new driver wersion is expected, but they couldent say when.

Question to Xerox-support: when can we expect a new driver version from Xerox, which try to solve this problem, and in general the tecnical interaction between Eccel 2010 and Xerox 7435 printer ?

last what i heard a new driver will be released around 14 dec

Just checked.  Latest driver is still 5.152.7.0, dated 2009-12-21.  C'mon Xerox, we need a fix for this.

the driver is out a while ago, you need to use the global driver instead of the model specific ones

Direct releases need to be specifically asked for. Xerox.com will always have the drivers shipped with the machine. If you call support. you can ask for drivers "Built from the Global 5.246.xxx" and send the request to engineering. Normally takes about 3 days.

Or, as recommended, you can install the Global bundle, the fix is included.
