This is NOT the correct solution. Generally speaking with Xerox home office type printers (and other manufacturers), once the printer displays this kind of message:
...no amount of printer driver setting changes achieve printing. Even if a single color ink cartridge is finished. With a "ink low" message, changing the output to "Black" may or not print depending on the application in use.
Where I live, time to shipping fo replacement ink is over a month. I would like Xerox to clearly admit that this model of printer cannot print any more if ANY ink cartridge has status "Replace". Please be honest with us.
I have that setting set to black, but it still keeps on complaining empty cartridge and asking to replace it, before it can be printed.

For cost saving purpose i am only printing in black but over the time it looks like my color cartridge(magenta) has run out.
How can i configure the printer so that i can continue printing in black even though color cartridge have run out?
