I think when they say manual duplexing, they mean printing one side, removing the page, flipping it, and printing the other side. There are no accessories, and there is no duplexer that I can tell.
But the worst problem is that the Mac does not see the printer as a scanner or Fax machine, so you cannot, for example, use Image Capture the way they say in the mnual.
Hi,arte
I am in the process of configuring my MacBook Air with Xerox. It sucks to know that you can't do duplex on a mac. I really hope a newer driver fixes this. Same as the person who started this post, I get the option greyed out.
have you configured the duplex unit?
sometilmes when you add a printer on the control panel on mac, you can setup options on the printer
There you can enable untis like duplex, optional trays, finishing options...
do you have that kind of optionsin the printer setup on the control panel?
I am having the same issue. I hope they fix it soon, I just got the printer and one of my big needs was duplex printing.
I'm also looking for it.
Does the same thing for me too on 10.7.2 with driver v1.007. I can only hope that the new 10.7 driver will fix this.
I'm also looking for it.
maybe the duplex unit was optional ?
Dear Support,
I recently purchased a Workcentre 6015NI and found out that two-sided printing does not work. I downloaded and installed the driver from the Xerox website and found that when I tried to print double-sided (albeit manually), the option "two-sided" was grayed out on the print dialog box.
I have tested this on a Mac OSX 10.5, 10.6, and 10.7 (for the 10.7, the driver is not available yet).
In the user guide section: "Selecting Printing Options for Macintosh", it says "Select Xerox Features" from the "Copies & Pages" menu - I don't see this "Xerox Feature" in "Copies & Pages".
If I go to "Layout" (instead of "Copies & Pages"), the "Two-Sided" option is there, but is inactive.
Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
