Exactly.
It's all hardware, Offset is actually the tray moving side to side, only the middle can.
Stapler is also right the on the middle tray exit path.
Folder is at the bottom.
Top ain't got nuthin.
The trays actually have specific purposes, typically there is:
top tray ,no staples ,no hole punch, no Offsetting can go there.
Middle tray is for staples, Offset, Hole punched jobs, use any of these features and you cannot send to the top tray
Bottom tray is for Folded, you cannot send a booklet, half fold job to any other tray and it can't be used without the fold option.
If you don't have the bottom tray the middle and top still have the same limitations.
Our Xerox 7765 is giving me some issues. Through the admin panel on the machine I have selected the top right tray for the default output of everything, prints, faxes and copies.
Sometimes our printroom needs to use the machine and doesn't want to have to dig through everyone elses prints to find theirs so I set their driver to print to the bottom right tray.
Problem is it still comes out the top right tray. I've checked everything I can think of and couldn't find anything useful. I'd rather not call in our Xerox tech just to sort this out but will as a last resort.
Thanks for any help.
