Also, I ran the wizard.
I am the network administrator.
Have no idea what Ad-hoc is.
Please advise on how to remedy.
Ad-Hoc is highly unlikely to be right, but if it is, you will need your network admins to give you the right info for the printer to use since DHCP won't exist in an Ad-Hoc LAN.
Just run the Wizard
I tried re-installing the Global Print Driver, and it will not even "discover" the printer. Even thought it is connected to our router.
I configured at the machine.
Followed all the steps.
It said, "connected" on the machine.
Attempted to print.
Please tell us how to redo Wifi connection. The machine says wireless is "on". The blue light is on. Wireless, under Properties in the 169 IP address says we are connected to our router.
It's DHCP so you should not have to actually set anything, you just need to redo the Wifi Connection itself to get it on the LAN properly to get the IP assigned from the router
Thanks, but do we have to change the IP address? If so, how?
Or, maybe the network settings on the machine are incorrect?
