Re: Workcentre 4260 print job on Queue stck up.

Sounds like very bad things.

I would do a Memory clear on it to restore the factory defaults. Of course that is something a service technician is required for.

Re: Workcentre 4260 print job on Queue stck up.

Hi Joe,

Thanks for your reply.

Its weird because after the firmware upgrade, there's no print page came out from the machine.

There's no print out on both print and copy mode. Its just showed the animated printing in progress and it stocked there and I can't even cancel the print job.

Re: Workcentre 4260 print job on Queue stck up.

Unplug the NIC, reboot, clear all jobs and see if a config sheet will print and a copy can be made.

If it won't, there is an issue in hardware/firmware.

If it will, then the issue is on the print end.

So in the driver, edit the port and disable SNMP and LPR Byte counting if either is enabled.

Try switching PS for PCL or vice versa.

Try printing from a USB flash drive hooked up to the front side USB on the 4260

Report back with the results of each test and I will see what we can do.

Workcentre 4260 print job on Queue stck up.

Product Name: WorkCentre 4260

Hi Experts,

I had an issue with my xerox workcentre 4260. It just happened that the print job still on queue but there's no activity on the machine. Supposedly the paper will come out in just a few seconds but this one has no activity and it still just in the process mode for awhile.

I tried to shutdown the machine and boot up again but got the same problem. Also, tried to upgrade the firmware but nothing happens.

Guys, is there anybody here encountered this issue on your printer/copier?

Your comment is very much appreciated. Thanks in advanced!

Regards,
