Workcentre 5735 Print from USB

Hey you!

I found this on the support page:

The USB Port supports two printing methods. 

• The Software Tools option - used to connect the Xerox Copier Assistance (XCA), Customer Utilities or the Portable Workstation (PWS).  (PWS is used by the Xerox Service Representatives.) 
• The Direct Printing via Driver option - in this mode prints can be made via the print driver.  USB memory sticks are not supported.

Which means USB thumb drives does not work.

I notice there is a USB port in the back of the Workcentre 5735, but I have no idea how (or even if it is even possible) to print document files directly from a flash drive. I've attempted to look through the PDF manual, and scoured the Graphical User Interface, but I can't find a command. Any insight in this matter would be helpful.
