My problem was solved after about 4 or 5 runs.
In step 6 you could take Arrow up x-times; is a bit shorter.

It might be more than just one problem, if you purshased this new and got warranty I would suggest you ask for an engineer.
Could be the drum too.

Thank you for that link, I've had a little bit of progress. I followed the instructions and it has restored some ink when printing but the quality is not good. I have printed about 100 pages trying to get the ink flowing steadily again.
I have attached the best quality print I've had so far.

I agree with fiery, it does sound like a blocked path.
Have a look at THIS article, cleaning the augers described in step three could do some good.

It sounds like the ink isnt making into the developer unit. Mine started getting light so they sent me a new imaging unit which fixed it.
When I replaced the ink the faded print was exactly the same as before I switched them. It continued to print like this until it eventually stopped printing black altogether.
I have performed the manual color registration adjustment which has improved my color quality but there is still little to no black printing (there are very faint dots that are barely visible).

And see if that helps.
Did it completely stop when replacing the ink?

Hello,
We purchased a Workcentre 6505N in March of this year. Recently the black began to fade to grey and has now stopped printing anything in black at all.
We have replaced the ink but that did not help.
The printer has printed about 4500 pages.
Any ideas?
