Hi Alclimer
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at the solutions for noise. If the the solutions do not help please consider having the tech back out and maybe ask for a different one or a manager.
Searching for "loud clicking noise" I came across this post. We have a WC7545 and it's doing the same thing. A very loud clicking noise when something is printed. Seems to be at the very end when the paper is released. We've had customer service here more than once, the rollers have been changed, there is no paper caught, yet still this noise is occuring. Not sure what to do next?
Hello again dbwicks,
The following is a link to Xerox contacts worldwide.

I am sorry but I do not know what areas have or use email to initiate support requests.
Hi Mitch,
Thanks for the answer, I have already checked through the support articles and there is no stuck paper or anything like that. As I said before I have used the diagnostic menu to determine that the sound only occurs when the paper transport motor is initialised and it sounds like a clutch slipping or something like that.
Thanks for the link to email support however when I enter the serial number it says "We are unable to determine your product model name." Is this because we are based in the UK so the serial number is not in that database?
Could you please provide me with the means to email Xerox support directly in the UK? When I follow the support links it only has a phone number but I do not have time at the moment to stay on the phone.
Thanks,
Ben
Hi bdwicks,
Thank you for using the Xerox forum.
There are many things that the motor turns.
I would suggest that you review the following maintenance suggestions on the Xerox 6605 support page and perform all of the maintenance in the feed areas of the tray and look for small pieces of paper or obstructions in the paper path.
I went to the product page and searched as you can see and there looks like some possible potential.
If that does not resolve your issue you may consider contacting our specific product support experts at the following link:

Hi,
I have a Workcentre 6605dn that makes a loud clicking/rattling noise when I print to it. Using the diagnostics I have found that the clicking occurs when the Paper Transport Motor is tested.
Is there anything else connected to the Paper Transport Motor that could cause the noise or is it the motor itself?
Thanks,
Ben
