Re: Workcentre 7525 gives Security alert on print

Hi,

Sorry the delay, I have been out.

In the past, one colleague of mine sent this suggestion to a customer and it worked. Really sorry but I'm out of solutions.

Re: Workcentre 7525 gives Security alert on print

I tried adding it using the following guide: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc738131(v=ws.10).aspx

But even after a couple of cmd: gpupdate /force the effect was still the same.

Hi,

The certificate need to be loaded on the Trusted Root at CA. You need to do it on the domain, not locally.

The other thing you can do is to load your company's certificate and load it in the printer.

You need to involve your customer IT.

Re: Workcentre 7525 gives Security alert on print

Only now did I get why your link wasn't working! I had to replace printerip.

Anyway, it downloaded the file, I opened it and ran the install wizard.

After that the problem still exists.

Workcentre 7525 gives Security alert on print

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Since the installation of our new printer (a Xerox Workcentre 7525) we've been getting a certificate message almost everytime a user prints something.

I can't find a clear answer here of anywhere else. It seems like the printer needs a new certificate or something.
