the problem of the greys and browns shifting i need to work with a tech on.  The abiblity to calibrate mid run using the FWA is what i'd like some info on.  I didn't find anything in the manuals that mentioned mid run calibrating.  so my question is: is it possible? will it need a new software version that i would have to upgrade to (like fiery fs150 to fs200 or something.  I'm using 1000i v3.0, would 4.0 have it or 5.0).  If it exists, how do i set i up?

X1000i calibrating mid run on FWA

Hello all,

 

Is there a way to set the 1000i to calibrate using the FWA in the middle of a large run, say every 1000 sheets?  I have been having problems with light browns and full color greys changing color on me and i discovered that calibrating it will change it back to the original color i wanted.  I'd like to have this happen automatically by using an alternate tray.  I looked through the user and sysadm guides and didn't find anything.  Any help would be appreciated.
