XEROX 252 with external Rip EX260: Problems with odd pages

thanks for your hint.

I installed every Patch, that is shown in the Fiery Update.

Is there a chance, that you can say which Patch would it be that changed the behavior with the odd pages?

And is it possible to installt the patch over the old one, if it is already installed or do i have to reinstall the whole server?

Maybe you can help me with further information.

I think, that patches on their own are poorly discribed in the update process, because i cant see, for which problem they are for.

is there another way to check the installed patches? Or only with the fiery update?

I have seen this problem more than once, but it was fixed in each case by a patch.

You might want to double-check the available patches vs. the patches you actually have loaded.

hope this is not a double post but i cant find anything.

I got a problem with importing pdfs to our external Fiery.
Either with hotfolder or with direct import to the hold que, the rip will show the wrong pages if it only should print odd pages.

- i got a 2 page pdf an the rips shows page 1 and 2. Only page 1 should be here.

- i got a more than 2 page pdf and the rips shows 1, 3, 5, and so on. the odd pages as it should be.
- i got a 2 page pdf with even pages and the rip shows page 2 as it should be.

So we only have the problem with a 2 sided pdf and odd pages and with importing pdfs.
When i print directly from indesign everything is fine.

Is this a known problem?

every patch should be installed with the update program of the Fiery
System: OS X 10.5.8, Hotfolder 3.xx, CWS 5.3.1.32 and CWS 4, System 8R2, V 2.0

Maybe there is a known problem. Can´t find anything at the Xerox homepage about this.
