Print a CMYK (attached as pdf) test through the Fiery (CWS5) and on the copier (CWIS) to figure out if it is the Fiery or copier, and to see which color(s) is affected.
The results of the test will say where to begin looking for the fault. In my mind, if nothing was visually apparent on the Fuser or drum I would have gone straight to the Developers for an issue like this, if your techs had called in to their support line, I'm all but certain that is where the problem will be unless it only happens when submitted through the Fiery, in which case the SCSI cable would be step one.
Hello everyone :)
I have a problem with a printing quality on my (new - bought at the end of march 2017) C60 (with Fiery EXC60 Colour Server) for a month now. The machine started to do vertical thin stripes on the images (mainly on darker areas, skin tones, etc). I think the main problem is with black and magenta (and maybe cyan too). I think only yellow looks all right. The service guys (I have signed Xerox FSMA with them) changed fuser, drums, transfert belt, charge corotron on black drum, they cleaned lasers, etc., but it didn't solve the problem. They said they really don't know what is going on.
Maybe anyone here could help, please?
