Most likely Adobe color management is the issue and not the printer (since it prints internal pages fine) or it's driver.
Set let the printer control color
And it's unlikely, but check out the ink settings if the above fails.
Hi i got the folowing problem after using my new computer
I use WIN 7 64 bit, i installed the latest drivers for 64 bit. and use new genuine black sticks i used tray 1 and 2 with diferent settings paper. normally i use transparancy since this has the thickest coating aplied. but non works
The problem is this.
When i print solid black from ilustrator or any other source. the blacks are not solid but small stripes. also the gloss i used to is not there. it looks like it did not use enough ink or something. this is crusial for me since i use to for etching. it must be filled completly.
at first i though maybe i have to run a stripes cleaning. but at the test page non of the black bars are missing, and most imported. they are nice glossy black thick and compltly filled out like it used to be. then when i print from the computer is becomes this dull looking black again with stripes.
i even isntalled the printer on a winXP system because my new system is a skylake based windows 7 and has al sorts of weird problems. but this did not resolve anything. blacks stay crappy.
since when the printer prints from its own source test page for isntance the black is perfect, so its no mechanical isue. my guess software or settings somewhere.
i hope someone can help me out, since its a waste to buy a new one since the printer only printed 30.000 pages as of yet.
