I have come across a strange problem at one of my customers.
This customer has a “CRM” system which prints their contracts to an XPS docs which they then print, some these contracts are over 10 pages long. Their printer, a Xerox PE220, was attached to a Windows 7 box that they use as an "app server" and shared form there for everyone to print to and this was working 100%
Recently we upgraded the PE220 20 to a WorkCentre 3550, but now when the XPS document is printed, the 220kb document spools to a file of about 30MB, and then starts to print, as you can imagine this takes for ever to print.
I have brought the file back to my office and printed it to many different machines and with the exception of my PE220 I get the same result.
Has anyone else come across something similar to this and if so how did you overcome it, or does anyone have any advice for me on this
